SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES
Purpose: To provide financial support
to current Transition to College (TTC) graduates.
Application Deadline: TBA each semester
Amount of Award: $300
Presentation of Award:
Awards are presented at graduation ceremony. A check will be
sent directly to the student after completion of the next
college semester after Transition to College.
Eligibility Criteria:

Must be enrolled in a degree or high
demand certificate program.

Must be registered for the next college
semester after Transition to College.

Must complete the semester with a
minimum 2.5 GPA.
Selection Procedure and Criteria:
-
Conducted by a panel of adult education
professionals.
-
Based on a 4 point scale rubric--
excellent, good, fair, poor.

Maintain a 2.5 GPA in the TTC sponsored
CCRI course. (ENGL 0850)
-
Received a TTC Certificate of Completion
(2.5 GPA).
-
Demonstrate potential to succeed and
leadership abilities
-
Successful participation in TTC.

Complete the scholarship application
-
A typed personal statement on goals,
aspirations, and what makes them uniquely deserving of this
scholarship. (Approx. 250 words)
Applicants are also required to:

Give permission for their academic
college records to be accessed.

Give permission for their profiles to be
posted on the TTC website.
-
Write a “thank you” letter to the
Scholarship Review Committee.
