CAREER EXPLORATION WORKSHOPS
The career exploration component provides a valuable
resource that gives students the opportunity to research
different career possibilities and to set academic, career, and
life goals for their future.
Career component includes three phases:

PHASE ONE -
SELF AWARENESS
Understand personality (Myers-Briggs), identify values,
skills and abilities, and set academic, career, and life
goals; write about dream job or vision for the future.

PHASE TWO -
DISCOVER ONLINE
Online career research program; identify career choices and
options, education required, job opportunities, salary, and
related occupations; confirm a career choice or open mind to
other possibilities.

PHASE THREE:
CAREER PORTFOLIO AND ORAL PRESENTATION
Professional typed portfolio including activities
from the self-awareness and Discover phases and
educational/life plan; employment documents--resume, thank
you and cover letters. Oral presentation based on career
exploration and research.
